Dorothy hopes her readers will gain new perspectives from her books and training materials. The Mentor’s Apprentice: A Workplace Fable on Cultivating Uncommon Sense is her second book. Her first book, Keeping Customers and Getting Their Friends Too! is a compilation of real-life stories in the form of case studies and exercises.

Dorothy is an international business consultant and trainer specializing in business management and growth strategies. She works with international development organizations and business support organizations that support small business development, primarily in Africa. Dorothy has trained thousands of business owners, and enjoys mentoring them and the youth. Her books and training materials provide practical strategies in an engaging manner.

Dorothy has a degree in Economics from Makerere University Kampala, an MBA from the Anderson School at the University of California Los Angeles and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and watching movies where the underdog triumphs.
